Skye and the dentist

Just had to say that Skye had to have 8 cavities filled. Partly because he has some enamel issues, and mostly because I couldn't be a 100% mother while i was pregnant, which took up a year and a half of his life. That was really hard for me, seeing my background, and just knowing that in the 'normal' day to day, I never forget to have him/me brush his teeth and care for him..it's really something I pride myself in. (I know that's not a good way to put it, but I really love to make sure the kids are clean and groomed and hair fine-tooth combed and nails clipped daily and lotion on..etc..) I also knew that I didn't ask for miscarriages, I didn't ask for terrible pregnancies. That's something God gave me to bring me to Him and teach me stuff. I had to be o.k. with Skye needing fillings. Andyou know what? He said it didn't hurt. The doc said he was the best patient they've had! What?! He did all 8 in 2 appointments (and one was a crown). I'm still a little mixed up inside about all that, but I'm grateful for the money and for a kid who chose to make it not a big deal.
